Purchasing Henty Products

Where do I purchase Henty products?

Henty products are available for purchase through three channels:

  1. Online through our website shop here.
  2. Through a growing number of retail outlets – for a full list click here.
  3. Visit us at the Salamanca Markets, Tasmania – you’ll find us at Site 260 up the eastern end of the market near the Silo Development between 0830h-1400h.

What if our products are out of stock?

Don’t stress, unless the online shop indicates we are out of stock, you will be able to order your Henty products today. However, in the unfortunate event that demand has exceeded supply (as indicated in the online shop), rest assured we are busy getting more stock ready.

We understand you may want your Henty products now! So, you have a couple of options to source your Henty products as quick as possible:

  1. Look for an authorised Henty retailer listed under Retailers.
  2. Register your interest for Henty products with us via our contact form, and we’ll let you know when it’s in stock, and send it straight to you.

What taxes and duties should I expect?

The price includes taxes and duties for purchases delivered to:

  • Australia,
  • Brazil,
  • Canada,
  • European Union,
  • Mexico,
  • New Zealand,
  • Singapore,
  • South Korea,
  • Switzerland,
  • United Kingdom, and
  • United States of America.

All other prices are exclusive of local import duties and taxes which may be levied once the shipment reaches your country.

How long does shipping take and how much does it cost?

Orders are processed daily Monday to Friday at approximately 12pm and are shipped out the same day where possible. Estimated timeframes for the arrival of your order are detailed in our shipping information.

What should I do if my order doesn't arrive when I expect it?

As a rule of thumb, wait an additional day then contact us using the details on our contact page. Please include your order number (which you’ll find on the confirmation email sent to you), delivery address and a phone number.

Do Henty products come with a warranty?

When it comes to our products, we’ve got your back. We will repair or replace the appropriate part(s) if your Henty product fails as a result of defective materials or workmanship under normal use within four years of purchase.

Should this happen, contact us with your proof of purchase and explain the problem, and we will get back to you just as soon as possible.

Can you repair my Henty product?

If the damage falls under our warranty, we can and will repair your Henty product free of charge.

If not, contact us using the details found on our contact page, providing photos where possible, and we will determine whether the damage can be repaired at a reasonable cost and make arrangements to get your Henty product operational.

If I change my mind, can I request an exchange for another colour?

If you decide you don’t like the colour you’ve chosen, you can exchange your Henty product for another colour within fourteen (14) days, providing your bag is unused, has the original tags attached and you provide your original receipt. If you’re exchanging an online purchase you are responsible for the return postage costs.

Can I return my Henty product for a refund?

Henty products can be returned for a full refund within thirty (30) days of the date of purchase, providing your bag is unused, has the original tags attached and you provide your original receipt. You are responsible for the return postage costs.

I've lost my coat hanger? Can I get a replacement?

We understand that sometimes things just go missing! We sell additional hangers if you need to replace your coat hanger. Importantly, we’ve designed the suit and garment bags to accept everyday coat hangers and suit hangers (so you should never get caught out). You have two options when using everyday coat hangers:

  1. Push the coat hanger through the small slot on the apex on the top of the bag, and secure in place with the internal velcro. Be careful not to pierce the liner when rolling up when using this method.
  2. Use the internal velcro to secure the coat hanger in place without poking the coat hanger through the slot.

Do you take special or bulk orders?

Which size suit and garment bag is right for me?

Our multi-purpose suit and garment bags come in two sizes. Please note the products are not convertible from Messenger to Backpack or vice versa.

The Wingman is the perfect commuter bag which allows you to travel to and from work, gym or just about anywhere – in style, with optimal organisation and is perfect for all commuters. The Wingman bags will fit up to a large suit (60cm / 23 inches full shoulder measurement).

The CoPilot is the next generation of lightweight innovation luggage designed for airline travel, so it maximizes airline carry-on requirements and suits all travellers – male and female. The CoPilot bags will fit up to a large suit (60cm / 23 inches full shoulder measurement).

We also have a slimmer version of the Wingman called the Compact (available in either messenger or backpack) which is for commuters with a full shoulder measurement of less than 47cm (18.5 inches) who want to minimize the size of the bag to suit their smaller frame.

If you wish to confirm your size, you need to determine the full shoulder measurement of your suit/shirt/blouse. See photo below for an example of a full shoulder measurement (click on photo to enlarge).

The measurement is taken from the outside edges of the shoulder pads when the suit is on a clothes hanger.

As a rule of thumb, if your full shoulder measurement is:

  • Less than 47cm (18.5 inches), the Compact will satisfy your needs.
  • Between 47 and 60cm (18.5 inches and 23 inches), the Wingman or CoPilot will be sufficient.
  • Greater than 60cm (23 inches), please email us and we may be able to tailor one for you.

What can I fit in my Henty product?

The CoPilot, Wingman and Compact bags all come with an additional gym bag (Inner Tube) which is included. These products have been designed to carry as little as a single shirt, or:

CoPilot Messenger + 20L Inner Tube:

  • 2 x suit (jacket and pants/skirt) +2 x shirt/blouse or
  • 5 x shirts/blouses
  • Two pairs of shoes, gym gear, towel, toiletries, 13-inch laptop, phone, wallet, keys, lunch

CoPilot Backpack + 20L Inner Tube:

  • 2 x suit (jacket and pants/skirt) +2 x shirt/blouse or
  • 5 x shirts/blouses,
  • Two pairs of shoes, gym gear, towel, toiletries, 15-inch laptop, phone, wallet, keys, lunch

Wingman Messenger + 14L Inner Tube:

  • 1 x suit (jacket and pants/skirt) +2 x shirt/blouse or
  • 4 x shirts/blouses
  • a pair of shoes, gym gear, towel, toiletries, 13-inch laptop, phone, wallet, keys, lunch

Wingman Backpack + 18L Inner Dry Bag:

  • 1 x suit (jacket and pants/skirt) +2 x shirt/blouse or

  • shoes, gym gear, towel, toiletries, 15-inch laptop, phone, wallet, keys, lunch

Compact Messenger + 12L Inner Tube:

Compact Backpack + 14L Inner Tube:

  • 1 x suit (jacket and pants/skirt) +2 x shirt/blouse or

  • shoes, gym gear, towel, toiletries, 15-inch laptop, phone, wallet, keys.

For ultimate reduction in creases, we recommend you use a dry cleaning poly bag for each item and limit the suit and garment section to 1 x suit (jacket and pants/skirt) +3 x shirt/blouse.

The Inner Tubes, whilst originally designed to integrate with the Wingman, can be used independently and is a classic gym bag worn messenger style. It’s large enough for carrying your accessories, including shoes, towel, toiletries and lightweight clothes.

The Sports Bags have been designed to replace the Inner Tube of the Wingman and CoPilot (if you desire). These bags have been designed as the ultimate day pack with the best features of a backpack, the accessibility of a messenger bag and the waterproof features of a dry bag. Separate your wet and dirty clothes from your clean stuff, carry a tablet/laptop, lunch, phone, wine or water bottle, yoga mat, poodle and more. The Sports Bags innovative design and tough military grade components make it the perfect companion for work, cycling, hiking, skiing gym or a weekend away.

Are you sure my laptop will fit?

The removable padded laptop pocket in the messenger styles has been designed to fit a 13-inch laptop with the following dimensions 32.5×22.7×2.4cm (12.78×8.94×0.95 inches).

Tablets of comparable size or smaller will also fit inside the removable pouch and may also fit inside the Inner Tubes.

The fixed laptop compartment in the Wingman Backpack and CoPilot Backpack styles have been designed to fit a 15-inch laptop with the following dimensions 36.5×25.0×2.4cm (14.37×9.84×0.95 inches).

The 20L and 26L Sports Bags have been designed with a fixed laptop compartment (in the sweat pad) to fit a 13-inch laptop with the following dimensions 32.5×22.7×2.4cm (12.78×8.94×0.95 inches).

Is my Henty tough enough to check in with airlines?

All Henty bags are tough enough to check-in, but we recommend you remove your laptop or tablet and other valuable items first. Our travel suit bag range is designed specifically for aeroplane travel.

If you’re checking in a Henty suit or garment bag (such as the Wingman), ribs will not be damaged as the Inner Tube in the centre stabilises the bag (and protects the ribs).

Our multi-purpose suit and garment bags will provide the same level of protection as a normal soft duffle.

How do I use my stabilisation strap?

The Messenger style bags are set to be carried on your left shoulder, but can be carried on the right if you swap the buckles over. The stabilisation strap clips under your left (right) arm, then all you need to do is adjust your strap lengths and shoulder pad position to secure the messenger bag in place.

Some products come with a rain jacket cover. If you bag has a rain jacket cover included, please note we have placed a slot in the rain cover (for messenger styles), which needs to be aligned with the buckle at the apex of the sweat pad, so you are free to use the stabilisation strap when using the rain cover.

The stabilisation strap can also be used with your Inner Tube. Simply remove the stabilisation strap from your Wingman, thread the loop through the right (left) haul handle on the end of the gym bag, then the buckle through the loop. This will secure the strap to the end of the Inner Tube. It can then be clipped under your left (right) arm, then all you need to do is adjust your strap lengths and shoulder pad position to secure the Inner Tube in place.

What do I do with the excess strap?

Tuck the excess strap through the shoulder pad, or trim off the excess. If you decided to trim off the excess, you will need to be careful so as to prevent fraying.

You can seal the new end by using a lighter or match which will prevent fraying.

If in doubt, we recommend you visit your nearest hardware store, ship chandler or sail maker and ask politely if they would shorten it for you.

Are the Henty colours accurate in the product photography?

We do our best to ensure that what you see is what you get, however the colours are reliant on the screen they are viewed from.

How secure is my personal information - does it get sold or shared?

Personal information collected on this site is treated as confidential and is protected by the Privacy Act 1988. Personal information is information relating to an individual whose identity is apparent, or can reasonably be ascertained from the information provided. Personal information collected on this site will not be used for any other purpose other than for that it was intentionally submitted. How do I care for the ribs in my suit and garment bag?

The ribs are made from a recycled plastic compound and give the bag its cylindrical shape when it is rolled – so you don’t need to take the inner tube if you don’t need to. Whilst the ribs are sufficiently strong and resilient for their intended purpose, they will not withstand excessive pressure, such as that applied if sat on or inadvertently bent.

If you do bend your Henty’s ribs, you can carefully bend them back to straighten. The ribs have been designed not to snap so you can remove and attempt to straighten them by folding back in the opposite direction.

You can also swap the ribs over if they are out of shape, and they will return the bag to it’s cylinder shape. Take particular care not to rip the liner or stitching and make sure they are guided into the reinforced internal tarpaulin pouches at either end.
